ChatGpt is an artificial intelligence chatbot designed by OpenAI. It was launched in 2022. This can easily understand human language and respond accordingly. It has been trained on a massive amount of information from books, websites, articles and online forums. Due to having knowledge of so much information, This can instantly answer your questions, retrieve information or even generate images.

You can also share your personal feelings with it and it will cooperate with you and also gives response if needed. It can also help to write essays, create stories, generating codes, language translation and many more. People can also practice communicating with it which will improve their conversation skills or simply chat when they feel lonely. This doesn’t have human emotions but it responds like an empathetic and responsible human. However, it’s still a machine at the end of the day and can make errors.

How this works?

The working of ChatGpt depends on many factors. The major factor from them is the type of input provided. Consider it as your friend who will understand things only when you make him understand it. If you are not satisfied with the response then try to make your input understandable, clear and specific.

It provides two main options:- Search and Reason. Search means that it will Search through already provided vast information and the provides most relevant answer according to the question. Note that it doesn’t Search Real time internet. Actually it has been provided so much data as input that it looks like it’s surfing internet but that’s not the case.

Reason means that this thinks deeply and tries to find logic about the question and responds with logical thinking. For example, if your question is some complex mathematical equation or even a deeply philosophical question, then instead of just copy pasting text, it provides the answer very thoughtfully.

Limitation of ChatGPT

There are many Limitations or disadvantages of it:-

The foremost of them is that it sometimes provides misleading and false information.

Since it has been already told that it does not directly access internet in real time but retrieve information from already inserted information. It can provide outdated information if it is not been trained on the latest information. It’s lack of emotions is another disadvantage since it can provide false information and user may believe it’s true.

Another major disadvantage of this is that it can produce biased reports and data because it is trained on a large number of data and data can be factually correct or wrong. Also people may become more dependant on it due to which they may have less experience while interacting with real people.

Conclusion

ChatGPT is a very powerful AI tool which can improve our lives, accessibility and our prospective towards the world. We can solve doubts, complex equations and also help in creative and technical work.

Personally I think that ChatGpt should not be developed further from a particular point since it can really make a big impact positively and negatively. That’s why I think people should use ChatGpt as a supportive tool rather than as a replacement of human thinking.
